An experienced team of resource-sector professionals advancing three 100%-owned, district-scale copper and gold projects across Canada.

About Us

Torr Metals is led by an experienced team of resource-sector professionals bringing fresh perspectives to mineral exploration across Canada's most prolific copper and gold districts.

The Company is advancing three organically-grown, 100%-owned, district-scale projects — the drill-stage Kolos Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia's Quesnel Trough, the Filion Gold Project in Ontario's Archean greenstone belt, and the ~689 km² Latham Copper-Gold Project in the Golden Triangle of northern British Columbia.

The Latham Project sits within the same geological trend that hosts the Red Chris, Saddle North, Galore Creek and Schaft Creek copper-gold porphyry deposits, and is ideally situated along major provincial infrastructure — with the Dease Lake airport 16 km to the north and Highway 37 transecting the eastern portion of the project — providing direct, year-round access.

Torr's strategy is straightforward: organically assemble a portfolio of large, road-accessible projects beside proven mines and producing camps, then drill them toward discovery — offering shareholders leverage to potential new copper and gold discoveries among the giants.

Corporate Governance

Independent oversight, aligned with shareholders

The Board believes that good corporate governance improves corporate performance and benefits all shareholders. Consistent with National Policy 58-201 – Corporate Governance Guidelines, the Board of Directors facilitates its exercise of independent supervision over the Company's management through frequent meetings of the Board, which is comprised of five directors, two of whom are independent for the purposes of NI 58-101.

Certain of the directors are also directors of other reporting issuers. The Board has found that the fiduciary duties placed on individual directors by the Company's governing corporate legislation and the common law, together with the restrictions placed on a director's participation in decisions of the Board in which the director has an interest, are sufficient to ensure that the Board operates independently of management and in the best interests of the Company.

Michael Dufresne, M.Sc., P.Geol., P.Geo., an independent director of the Company, also serves as the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, responsible for reviewing and approving the technical content of all materials publicly disclosed by Torr, including news releases, corporate presentations, fact sheets and website.
